Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sourcelane: the website, API, MCP servers and the Sourcelane apps in AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 and give accurate account details. You are responsible for activity under your account, including requests made by agents and apps you connect, and for keeping your API keys secret.
Credits and billing
- Requests are paid from a prepaid balance of platform credits, at the per-call or per-result price shown for each connector. Failed requests are refunded to your balance automatically.
- Credits are non-withdrawable, not redeemable for cash, and are not a deposit or stored value you own. Promotional credits may expire and have no cash value.
- Spend limits you set are enforced per agent and per connected app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, or data obtained through it, to:
- harass, stalk, dox or discriminate against anyone, or profile individuals for unlawful purposes;
- send spam or unsolicited messages, or build contact lists for that purpose;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or breach data protection laws that apply to you;
- train surveillance systems, or make decisions about employment, credit, housing or insurance;
- attack, overload or circumvent the security of the Service or any source it reaches.
Data is fetched from public sources. You are responsible for how you use it, including complying with the laws and the terms of the platforms it comes from.
Connected apps
When you connect Sourcelane to an AI assistant, that assistant can make requests on your behalf within the limits you set. You can disconnect it at any time from your dashboard or from the assistant. The assistant provider's own terms govern your use of their product.
Availability and accuracy
The Service and its data are provided "as is". Public sources change without notice, so connectors may fail, return incomplete data or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or uptime.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the Service at risk. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here; material changes are emailed in advance.
